<description>I bought my first Honda 350 in the summer of 2007 for $300 and I've been tinkering with them since. You come to accumulate lots of spare parts that dont fit when building a motorcycle. I simply chose to kit-bash some of it with skateboard hardware to make something of a rideable meatloaf.

		<description>Once-a-week, rapid-fire, creativity-flexing, projects.

This exercise chronicles fourteen rapid-concepting, creating, and design strategy exercises which can aid us in developing brighter ideas through the removal of our social inhibitions. Each project covers a strategy for concept development, not for a solution, but for fresh content that can lead to uncharted spaces of ideas. As the class title implies, We must work within the time and project constraints to creatively and strategically allocate milestones, funds and ideas into a relevant concept and in some cases, beyond what the rules allowed.

CREATIVE STRATEGIES

<description>The Characteristics of plant foliage harnessed within a speaker; it could act as an active acoustic dampener, changing the quality of of the audio on its own, depending on the average of the frequencies played through the speaker. Speakers are given the ability to bond with their user on their own terms, the speakers are imbued with a sense of personality. An anthropomorphized appliance will create a deeper, more meaningful relationship with the user.

<description>Some projects are fun being short and simple. I got tired of bending over to plug and unplug my electronics. All I did was put it on the table and make it pretty: Multi-outlet + Desk Lamp.

Mr. Thingy (the smaller light) is a mockup that never manifested into a project but the mockup itself was so well-made and cute, It wound up as night light. It uses five light-up machinery switches and one automotive cigarette lighter wired in parallel to one switch at the top. All switches and the lighter can be operated independently to make Mr. Thingy brighter or dimmer.

I have developed a passion for motorcycles because of their raw simplicity, utility and nature of existence. In many ways, they are passionate vehicles while at the same time, they take the concept of utility to its furthest extremes. The feeling of flying so low and understanding the machine so intimately is something that excites me and keeps me inspired.

In the summer of 2011, I created the Art Center Motorcycle Club to raise awareness and aid in the acquisition of motorcycles for those, like me, who are starving college students.

<description>A bicycle to connect the disconnect between private to public transportation

The brief of this project was to create a hyper-conceptual mobility product. After several first-person interviews and hands-on research with both bicyclists and motorists in downtown LA, I identified that Los Angeles is a big city where no single vehicle seems to belong. Its too big for bicycles, Its too small for traffic, and it lacks adequate public transportation. The product of this project is to visualize a flexible form of personal transport that can tactically combine its own mobility with that of existing forms of transportion in order to move around, with or through traffic. Inspiration was derived from the Los Angeles Caltrans building and the LAX.

<description>A solution for escaping New York City.

The brief for this project was to create the ultimate mobility solution for New York City millenial in the year 2020. Research and interviews concluded that most NYC millenials found the public transportation network more than sufficient and instead sought for a vehicle meant to escape the city instead. One of the glaring pain points found was that because NYC is such a cramped city, its inhabitants were used to ignoring each other, and ironically, felt lonely.

The ultimate personal mobility solution for NYC then, was a vehicle for millenials that appealed to user with minimal mechanical knowledge nor interest by building their relationship to the vehicle sentimentally. A land-jetski to spend the day away from the speed of the city to share intimately with a friend. The uber-urban roadster.

		<description>A true international motorcycle

The Expedition Trike is a tandem vehicle that is ment to take you and your supplies through the thick of trees, civilization, anarchy and beyond. The purpose of this trike is to maximize cargo capacity while maintaining the nimble mobility that only a dirt bike can offer.
